A time for work, a time for health: it’s a balance I’m still learning to maintain, something I barely have a handle on when things are going well. At the beginning of April I was faced with the decision between letting a company die, or picking up someone else’s slack. 80+ hour weeks ensued and fitness goals went in the bin. Lesson learned: always have a backup plan—especially when relying on others—and always include room in that plan for maintaining your own goals.
